You receive a written price per container that already includes the merchandise and the ocean freight to Mariel. Whatever is not included is stated in the same document, so the proforma you approve is the amount you pay.

Written CIF or CFR Mariel price with brands, weights, packing detail and the estimated sailing date. Usually within 24 hours.

Confirm and pay
We issue the proforma invoice with the agreed terms. Once it is settled, the container is booked and loading is scheduled.

Loading and sailing
You get loading photos, the seal number, the bill of lading and a pre-alert, and we follow the container until it arrives at Mariel.

Questions we get before the first container
Straight answers, including the ones most suppliers leave for the fine print.
What is the minimum order?
One full container, 20 ft or 40 ft. If you cannot fill it with a single product, we combine several lines in the same container until it is complete — that is how most first orders are built.
What does the CIF Mariel price include?
The merchandise, the ocean freight to the port of Mariel and the cargo insurance for the voyage. Import duties, customs clearance and inland transport inside Cuba are not included, and we state that in the same document so you know exactly where our price ends. On CFR terms the insurance stays on your side.
What is nationalized merchandise?
Cargo that is already imported and cleared in Cuba and sitting available for you to collect. When we have it, you buy it locally without handling the import process yourself. Availability changes by product and by week, so ask us for the current list before you plan around it.
How long does it take to arrive?
Transit to Mariel is normally 7 to 12 days once the container sails. Add a few days for loading and documentation after the order is confirmed — the estimated sailing date is written into your quote, not promised verbally.
Can I mix products in one container?
Yes, and most buyers do. Rice, oil, pasta, beans and canned goods travel well together in the same box. Frozen protein moves in a reefer container and is combined only with other frozen goods, for obvious reasons.
How do I pay?
The payment terms are set out in the proforma invoice before anything is loaded, normally by bank transfer. We confirm the exact conditions in writing for every order, so ask us and we will walk you through it step by step.
Who handles the import on the Cuban side?
The consignee named on the bill of lading, who must be authorized to import. We prepare the complete document set so clearance is straightforward on arrival. If you would rather not deal with the import at all, ask about nationalized merchandise instead.
Do you ship to other countries?
Right now the operation is focused on Cuba through the port of Mariel. The other destinations on the map are in preparation — leave us your contact and we will tell you as soon as one of those lanes opens.
